We had a hankering for Chinese Food and decided to check out China Mama. We actually became very very familiar with Spring Mountain during our trip – that’s where all the good food is! This restaurant is very busy but you can add yourself to the wait list to be seated. We only waited about 20-30 minutes and it’s in a big shopping complex so you have things you can do while you wait!
Mamas Mapo Tofu | $14.99
Super good dish! I don’t usually order mapo tofu in restaurants but so glad we did! It’s cool cause they bring it on top of a chafing dish so the mapo tofu stays warm as you’re eating. Slap some on a hot bowl of rice and I’m good to go!
Orange Chicken | $15.99
Honey Walnut Shrimp | $18.99
Classic dish and was good! Nothing to write home about but good enough to try.
Crispy Duck | $24.99
I think I was hankering for some roast duck and this ain’t it. It’s deep fried crispy so it’s also kind of dry. It’s one of their specialties but I wouldn’t get it again. I rather have Chinese Roast Duck or Peking Duck.
Signature Crispy Eggplant | $17.99
This wasn’t my order for the table because I’m not usually an eggplant fan but boy was I proved wrong. The eggplant was deep fried to a nice crisp but perfectly cooked eggplant inside. Not too soft and not too firm, just right! I would definitely order this again.

You’re really making me want to go to Las Vegas again. We would go down Spring Mountain Road, stop at Vietnamese places and go all the way to the Korean Market way down…Green Mountain?
Looks good! Spring Mountain is totally where all the good Asian food is!
