La Tour Café is a neat eatery on Nimitz right next to Tanaka Saimin.  They are under the same ownership as Bale so you know any breads or pastries they make will be good.  The first visit I had was when they were fairly new and I was pretty unhappy with my experience.  The customer service and food at the time was definitely lacking.  This past time, I had a much better experience.

Oh yeah…how can you go wrong…

There are so many reviews about their Mac and Cheese that I just had to give it a try.  How was it?  AH-mazing.  It was so incredibly cheesy, I was in Mac and Cheese heaven.  No artificial stuff from the blue box, this was the best mac and cheese I have ever had (including 12th Avenue Grill).  This is a side order of their Mac and Cheese.  It was so rich that I couldn’t touch my actual dinner.

Chicken Pesto Panini.  It was good, not great.  I think I’ll try their meatball banh mi next time!  The salad dressing is…interesting.  It’s hard to explain, it’s definitely not ranch.  There’s a strong taste of worcestershire sauce which threw me off a bit.
