Chan had a lunch order with his office from Alii Fish Market and this was part of the order. I thought the pans were so cute (lol), I never seen this size before. The food was all good, as usual! And I finally tried the yaki onigiri and yes, I now know what the hype is all about. Highly recommend!
Doesn’t this picture look almost like it’s from Japan or something? We were driving down Kapiolani and I glanced out the window while we sat in traffic and saw this. Just felt very Japanese-y, it was really cool to see. Oh! And we’re going to Japan in November! There’s my announcement lol, I’m so excited!!
Happy belated birthday to me! Of course I gotta show off the beautiful flowers and balloons that Chan got me for my birthday. He always makes me feel so special even though I don’t like getting older…especially at this age. I am at Auntie age but I am a-okay with that. I earned that badge. Have a great weekend everyone!
I bet that house is right before Kalakaua. I always think it’s so cool too!
Seems like Alii is the place to go for poke these days. Didn’t know about these other dishes.
Aaaannnd, better to be Auntie than nana like some kids have DA Nerve to call me. But, you waaaay too young to be called Auntie. Happy belated birthday!
Hey! I going be Japan in in November too!
Yah you’re right! That’s where it is! Alii has good specials that are cooked since I know you don’t like raw fish. I think you would like the yaki onigiri!
Nana??? That’s just downright rude and disrespectful lol. Thank you for the birthday wishes! Where you gonna be in Japan??
That house does look like it belongs in Japan! I wonder what makes it so.
Love Alii Fish Market. But the last time I had the yaki musubis I felt it was too greasy. Their poke is the best. Always fresh, always ono.
Congrats on going to Japan and happy belated birthday! No worries, I will always be older than you – you can call me Ne-san.
Thank you Aunty! Must be the way the house is built and that it’s near water fixture lol.
Oh no about the musubi you got last time! Must be up and down then their quality. Thank you for the birthday wishes! Super excited for Japan Ne-San lol
