Hi folks!  I hope you guys are having a great holiday season!  I’ve been off since Christmas day and it has been great.  I’ve been spending time with family and friends so it’s been hard to update as regularly.  My cousin is back from Chicago for the break so I’ve been trying to get some quality time in with her!  I have all this pictures burning a hole in my hard drive that I must share with you guys!  And share I will!  I promise.  Just wanted to drop by in the meantime to say hello.  Here’s a picture from my day off last week.  I had a crazy month so taking that day off was amazing.  Boy was I productive!  I went all around the island that day!  Here’s a picture from the Pupukea Beach Park…:)

So I totally said my time would free up a few weeks ago and I was dead wrong.  It’s probably been more hectic than ever, the next two weeks are going to be crazy too.  I apologize.  I’ve been doing some restaurant-ing the past few weeks too so I hope to get them up for you folks.  I’ll try to work on some posts tonight.  Please bear with me!  I am pretty excited to share some recipes I made too!  It’s the holiday season so I’ve been baking up a storm for various events/bake sales…or just to eat.  LOL.  Hope you all are doing well.  I’ll end this post with another Chicago picture.  Sorry!  I couldn’t believe how beautiful this picture was that my cousin was able to capture from her room.  Can you believe her view?  Willis Tower!

I would like to share some recent pieces I purchased.  I like to call them art because they really are!  My coworker creates ceramic pieces in her free time and she does wonderful work.  Every year when we have our craft fair, she donates them to benefit a scholarship fund.  EVERYONE loves it and buys them.  I truly think she undermines her own skill, every piece is so pretty and creative.  Here are two pieces I bought this year.  And happy end of November everyone!  Can you guys believe it?  Did you guys go Black Friday shopping?  I went and my pants were inside out, I didn’t know until I was driving home.  I’m awesome.

The planter has slits on the bottom to let out excess water.  This one included the cactus!  Yay!

Every year, my friend Kristian overdoes himself wrapping gifts.  And I’m not trying to sound negative by saying overdoes because he is insanely creative and talented at it!  So I can confidently say he is constantly on his game wrapping presents while I am a big mess.  This year, I thought of a cute way of wrapping his present which utilized my high school skills.  Back in high school, I loved created photo collages of my favorite singers/actors and used them as book covers.  I also used it in my old planners – if I ever dig them up one day, I will definitely post it!  So here is what I created:
