Mixed Plate Friday

Just a super cute gift I got from my coworker for Girl’s Day! Isn’t this so cute and thoughtful??

Bi Bim Kook Soo | $14.49

I got this from Yummy Korean BBQ – the Moanalua Shopping Center location. To me it was pretty good! Everything was seasoned perfect so I enjoyed this a lot! One of the better take-out bibimkooksoo dishes I’ve had in a while!

Air-fried Roast Pork

Did you know you could make chinese style roast pork in an air fryer? I didn’t. Okay, well I’ve never made chinese roast pork ever in my life but take a look at this! Look at the skin and how crispy it is! I don’t have a recipe lol but it was delicious!

$15 for bibimkooksu???? i’ve been on a korean food addiction but the last take out place I bought from was kinda salty. I don’t want to mention the name because it is my favorite place and I never noticed before so maybe it was a bad day in the kitchen. Still puffy, 2 days later! LOL
I saw online a kid eating chicaron dipped in guacamole the other day and looked so ono! Wonder where the chicaron was from.

Oh no! Can’t you tell me what the place is? LOL hopefully it was just an off day.

Yes, that’s the trend! Idk where you find full on pork belly strips fried like that. I am sure Hawaii will follow suit soon.

  2. You are making me hungry again. When I finally get my new stove (been waiting 9 months already), it comes with a built in air fryer and after seeing your crispy delicious roast pork, I gotta use it. Yum! I love crispy skin stuff.

Wow built in air fryer! That’s gonna be awesome! And my gosh 9 months?? What’s going on! I hope you have something you’re using in the meantime??
