Ton Shou – Las Vegas, NV

Ton Shou was selected by a friend and boy was it good! I think it’s a lot like Tonkatsu Tamafuji but they just offer way more variety of dishes. I didn’t know what to expect and wasn’t feeling like just tonkatsu with so I was super happy they had tempura with soba! Let’s go through the dishes!

Portobello Fries | $14.00
crispy katsu battered portobello fries served with side of gyu tendon & house special sauce

Love me some thick portobello mushrooms! They do their battering so well, it was delicious!

Tonshou Salad | $14.00
slightly grilled romaine garnished with tomato, freshly ground parmesan cheese, and croutons, served with house roasted sesame dressing

Because there was five of us, it was a bit hard to share this dish. From what I remember, it wans’t anything memorable. I would probably not order it again. Nothing special.

Fish Roe & Uni Donburi | $27.00
fish roe egg, uni served with sushi rice, shiso leaf and tonjiru soup

Katsudon | $27.00
rosu katsu with egg, onion, scallions, katsudon sauce

Tempura Cold Soba | $25.00
japanese style cold noodle served with ebi katsu, vegetables tempura, nori, kalwari and green onion

This was my dish! Oh it was sooo good. I can even forgive them for forgetting my order because I had to ask about my dish after everyone at our table got their food. It’s okay, it came out pretty quick after that and the tempura was super super fresh and crispy. They serve it up with their homemade tartar sauce too. I enjoyed this dish immensely, I would order it again!
