During a lazy weekend, Chan and I were looking to order some nice comfort food for dinner. I’ve been wanting to take him to Season’s Taiwan Eatery since one of his favorite dishes is Beef Noodle Soup so this was perfect! We ordered a bunch of food since we had to pay for delivery anyway and it was so so good. It looks like they don’t jack up the menu prices but you do have to pay delivery fees and gratuity of course. I’m glad we got to try a variety of dishes, would love to go in-person one day with Chan!
Popcorn Chicken (Large) | $18.95
Bite-sized, well-seasoned fried chicken, crispy on the outside and juicy inside, a favorite snack in Taiwan. Served with crisp fried basil
This is one of their signature dishes and it’s easy to see why. The chicken is tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned and fried to a nice crisp. I love the fried thai (?) basil leaves too! Chan ordered it at Spicy Level 3. That’s really spicy and this is coming from the Spice Queen (ha!).
Beef Night Market Fried Rice | $17.95
fried rice stir-fried with beef slices and veggies
The name and description of the fried rice is a bit lackluster so I wasn’t expecting much but boy was I wrong. Super flavorful fried rice, it was delicious! Even better as leftovers.
Salt & Pepper Fried Egg Fish | $15.95
small Egg Fish, Shishamo, fried perfectly to the point that you can consume the entire fish from head to tail. Bursting with flavors. Perfect beer snack!
Another winner dish, I love shishamo and coupled with the taiwanese spice? Heavenly. Chan ordered it level 3 spice again so yeah, mouth on fire. Didn’t stop me from eating it!
Beef Egg Crepe Roll | $15.95
soft crepe wrapped around savory beef, fresh onion, cucumber and egg, delicate and filling
Doesn’t look too appetizing yeah? Well, it tasted better than it looked. Was still pretty okay even after a delivery trip. I’m glad to have tried it but I don’t feel like I need to get it again.
Dragon Dumplings | $17.95
handmade dumplings drizzled with house special dragon sauce and a hint of heat from Sichuan pepper oil
Another winner dish! I’m a sucker for dumplings and these were wonderful. Nice filling and where da dragon? This spice level was do-able.
Beef Noodle Soup | $18.95
Add Meat | $5.00
classic Taiwanese beef noodle soup: rich broth, tender beef, fresh noodles
Chan’s dish, yup he got level 3 and enjoyed it. I think he’ll stick to level 3 and not go higher, you don’t want to hide the flavor of the dish with too much spice. Had plenty leftover for him to enjoy for days.
Braised Pork Belly Rice Combo | $17.95
rich pork belly slow-braised until melt-soft, over steamed rice
My entree! I thought by looking at it, the pork would be tough and dry. NOT AT ALL. Super soft and tender, melt in your mouth kine. Super good dish! I would probably get noodles in my next go around but this is a solid rice dish! Would order it again if I wanted rice! Yum!
